Terms of use

Last updated: 30 October 2026. These terms are a draft and are being reviewed by a lawyer before they are final.

1. The service

BookMed provides the website at bookmed.org and the software MediCRM and MediPlan, which are products of Etec. Some parts are offered to clinics under a separate written agreement, which takes priority over these terms.

2. Accounts

Access to the software is given by the clinic's administrator. Each person signs in with a one-time code sent to their own email address. Keep access to your email account safe, and tell us at hello@bookmed.org if you believe someone else has used your account.

3. Medical responsibility

BookMed does not give medical advice. A treatment plan, a diagnosis or a price is the responsibility of the clinic and its dentist. MediPlan's clinical checks help staff notice problems, but they do not replace clinical judgement.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the software or the website to send unlawful, misleading or unsolicited messages, to attack the service, or to collect data you have no right to. Messages sent through WhatsApp, Telegram, Meta and other platforms must also follow those platforms' rules.

5. Fees

Prices are shown on request or in the agreement with the clinic. We may change prices with notice.

6. Intellectual property

The software, the website and its content belong to Etec. Clinics keep the rights to their own data and content.

7. Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available, but we do not promise that it will never be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the period in question. [To be confirmed by counsel.]

8. Ending use

A clinic can stop using the software at any time. We may suspend access for breach of these terms.

9. Governing law

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version.
