How MediCRM connects to Meta, WhatsApp and Telegram
MediCRM lets a clinic answer its patients where they already write: on Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp and Telegram. It also receives the answers from Facebook Lead Ads forms.
What a clinic connects
- Facebook Pages and Messenger. A Facebook Page that the clinic manages.
- Instagram. An Instagram professional account linked to that Page.
- Facebook Lead Ads. The lead forms of the Page's ads.
- WhatsApp Business. A WhatsApp Business number in the clinic's Meta Business account.
- Telegram. A Telegram bot the clinic creates.
The clinic connects these with a Facebook sign-in. The clinic chooses the Page, the account or the number, and what the connection should do. We ask Meta only for the permissions these features need.
What we receive and why
- Messages sent to the connected Page, account, number or bot, so that staff can read and reply to them.
- Lead-form answers, so that each becomes a lead in the clinic's pipeline.
- The name of the Page, account or number, so that staff can recognise where a message came from.
What we do not do
- We do not use this data for our own advertising, and we do not sell it.
- We do not send messages on the clinic's behalf unless a staff member or an automation the clinic set up sends them.
- We do not read data for any Page or account the clinic has not connected.
Disconnecting and deleting
A clinic can disconnect any channel in MediCRM at any time. You can remove MediCRM from your Facebook settings. To delete the personal data, follow the data deletion instructions.
Meta platform terms
Our use of data from Meta follows the Meta Platform Terms and the Developer Policies.
